Baguio City and La Union Tour

It has been a while that I haven’t visited the gem spot in northern Luzon. After all the hard work and dedication to my job and family matters, I believe that I deserved to travel once in a while. You deserved it too. Just believe it and let’s lakwatsa anywhere.

This is a planned trip for a few months with my new found friends. There’s just one day that we talked about about where they wanna go and someone said Baguio. I was excited to visit again as well, so without any hesitations, I booked a flight directly since there is promo fare. The other friends just depend on my decision so they have no choice but to go with me. That’s how the insane friends are.

Just want to remind that this blog is a personal blog and hopefully a helpful guide for those who are reading and visiting. I appreciate the time and effort of viewing this post. Let’s begin the adventure.

Three of us are from Cebu and the other one is already in Manila. I organized and did the research on what to do and where to stay. A couple of months and preparations to find an affordable place and affordable tour that accommodates 4 young and fresh good looking humans. Joke Lang!… Anyways, our flight is Cebu to Clark then Manila to Cebu and that is roughly 2500 pesos only since it was a promo fare. In this post, I will also share the cost that we spend during our trip.

To make it short, here is the summary of our trip. This is 4 nights and 4 days trip to Baguio City and La Union.

Thursday, 4:55PM – Flight from Cebu to Clark. You are lucky if there is no delay but unfortunately, our flight got delayed because there was Typhoon Egay that time. We arrived at the Clark airport around 7PM. There is a bus terminal just within the Clark Airport’s area. Sadly there were no bus going to Baguio during our visit because of the typhoon so we need to go to the DAU Pampanga bus terminal. It is 100 pesos bus fare from the Clark Airport to DAU Terminal that is less than an hour ride. Good thing there is a bus in DAU Terminal so we immediately board and it is 416 pesos bus fare from DAU Terminal to Baguio City.

It is 4-5 hour ride from DAU Terminal to Baguio City, so we roughly arrived at our transient house that we rent around 1 AM. Our accommodation has been arranged from Miss Diana in Facebook or the VIDI Vacation HOME Fb Page. That ranges 400 to 500 pesos each depends on numbers of heads. Price depends on the season and by the number of heads.

The moment when we finally arrived at VIDI Vacation HOME.

We decided to just order a food from GRAB since it was raining and tired from travel. GRABFOOD and FOODPANDA is available in the area so it is more convenient for the tourists anytime and anywhere. Char!

On the second day, we decided to have the whole day Baguio City Tour even if it is still raining. I did the tour reservation from Abe Reyes in Facebook. You can contact him directly for the rates. We get ours for 1000 pesos each with the spacious INNOVA for 4pax. Price depends on the season and by the number of heads.

The Baguio City Tour is from 8AM to 5PM. We were not able to visit the other spots in the list because of the aftermath from the typhoon Egay. Some park were still in the clearing state during the time that we visited. Even if it was raining, we still had fun and enjoyed the moment during our tour. It is tiring but it is still worth it.
We went home and took a rest then prepare for dinner.

We decided to have the Unli Samgyeupsal for only 199 pesos each.
